📚 A few months ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Lyna for a 5-month internship.

🎬 In this first episode of My Internship at Fabriq, she talks to us about her experience.

What's your name and how long have you been at Fabriq?

My name is Lyna and I’ve been a PR assistant for 5 months.

What are you studying?

I'm in my 3rd year of a bachelor's degree in public relations and events.

What did you discover during your internship?

I discovered everything during my internship. The PR sector is not something I knew very well, apart from the university classes I took. I discovered that being a press officer was much more than writing and sending out press releases. It also consists of trend tracking, editorial calendar and press coverage monitoring, which accounts for 90% of the work.

What were your missions?

I had many assignments during my internship, with different clients, where I was exposed to quite a few different business sectors. I translated press releases, wrote news roundups, press reviews and also monitored editorial calendars. I had the chance to attend a cross interview and weekly meetings with the agency's clients.

Your favorite moment at Fabriq?

I had many favorite moments at Fabriq, but I'd say that my whole internship was the best moment thanks to the agency members who were warm and welcoming. I really loved it. There wasn't a single moment where I felt alone or lost in my tasks. I would say that the whole internship was my best moment.

Will you be doing a PR internship again?

It's not that I wouldn't like to, but I'm not thinking of doing one again as I would rather discover other sectors of activity. But it's a sector that I'm keeping in mind in the future for potential career evolutions.
